Japplis Website Optimizer 4.0 has been released.

Japplis Website Optimizer is a set of tools to improve your static website pages. It includes shrinking and compressing your html, javascript, css files, adding width and length for your images, replace text based on templates.

What’s new:

  • Each month, the first 1,000 processed files are free and don’t need a license key.
  • Now that the first 1,000 processed files are for free, Website Optimizer Lite will be removed.
  • Faster to read files
  • Added replace between tags optimization (HTML, CSS & JavaScript)
  • Added support for properties in replace between tags
  • Added support for @property.name@ to replace text
  • Fixed replacing tokens with content from a file.
  • Use html, htm and xhtml as default html extension when not defined
  • Fixed documentation on how to replace tokens with the content from a file.
  • Fixed keep last modified time of the file
  • The destination file will be overwritten if the tokens.properties has been modified.
  • JavaScript and CSS will be optimized in a .min.js or .min.css if destination directory is the same as the website directory.
  • Fixed loading and saving is done in UTF-8.
  • Fixed optimize JavaScript was using css extension.
  • Avoid overriding file if no changed is performed on the HTML file.
  • Upgraded YUI Compressor to version 2.4.9.
  • Upgraded Jericho HTML to version 3.4.
  • Many more user interaction small improvements.

Applet Runner 2.0 NetBeans Plugin Released

I’m pleased to announce the release of Applet Runner 2.0 NetBeans plugin.

This can hopefully bring using NetBeans to a new level of tooling. I’ve added many utility applets so that more type of files could be opened in NetBeans and more things can be done without leaving your favorite IDE.

Japplis Website Optimizer 3.0 released

Japplis Website Optmizer 3.0 has been released.

Japplis Website Optmizer is a tool that compact your website source code.
Using different technics it shrinks and compresses HTML, JavaScript and CSS files up to 65% making your website faster.

The main change is that Japplis Website Optimizer is now free even for commercial use.
Other improvements include improvements in caching management, upgrade of the used libraries, remembering of the last directories used and a few bug fixes.
There is now a Pro version of Japplis Website Optimizer that includes advanced features such as PHP optimization, replacing tokens with standard text (e.g. header & footer).

Japplis Website Optimizer Lite 1.0 Released

I’ve just released Japplis Website Optimizer Lite.
Japplis Website Optimizer Lite is freeware and is a subset of the already existing Japplis Website Optimizer application.
Japplis Website Optimizer Lite optimizes HTML pages and reduce the size by more than half making the page to be downloaded faster and saving bandwidth.
Japplis Website Optimizer Lite also adds width, height and alt attributes to images if missing.
Japplis Website Optimizer Lite is available at https://website-optimizer.japplis.com/lite/ or you can run it online here.

Japplis Website Optimizer 2.0

Japplis Website Optimizer 2.0 has been released.
Japplis Website Optimizer optimizes web sites by using several techniques:

  • Remove unneeded spaces.
  • Add width and height attributes to images if missing.
  • Optimization of the CSS.
  • Optimization of the Javascript.
  • Compression of the web pages, CSS and Javascript.

Web pages, CSS and Javascript files are reduced by more than half their original size.

What’s new:

  • Possibilty to choose which files to optimize.
  • Optimization of PHP.
  • Possibility to run it as command line and Ant task.
  • Possibility to optimize only in compressed files.
  • Several bug fixes and small improvements.
  • Also available the Beta version of Japplis Website Optimizer Lite (Freeware).
