Heat Map

Version 1.2 adds heat map:

  • Color gradient of the background of the cell based on the value of the number
  • From dark red (low) to dark green (high)
  • Based on zero, minimum, mean or medium
  • Based on other values in the same column or in numbers in all columns

Excel sheet on top of other windows

Sheet Viewer, a software to view Excel sheets above your other windows has been released.

You need to select:

  • The file to open (xslx, xls, csv)
  • The sheet to view
  • The top left and bottom right cells to view
  • Whether you want the file to be reloaded on changed and being notified or not
  • If the sheet should be on top of other windows
  • The transparency/translucency of the sheet

Applet Runner 2.0 NetBeans Plugin Released

This can hopefully bring using NetBeans to a new level of tooling. I’ve added many utility applets so that more type of files could be opened in NetBeans and more things can be done without leaving your favorite IDE.

An Excel Viewer for IntelliJ IDEA

Excel Viewer running in IntelliJ IDEA with the Applet Runner free plugin

I’ve just released a Microsoft Excel Viewer that runs in IntelliJ IDEA and other JetBrains IDE’s such as Android Studio or PyCharm.

It can open xlsx, xls and csv files, copy text from the spreadsheet or open the spreadsheet in an office suite.

To run it, download the free Applet Runner plugin from JetBrains marketplace and execute the free Excel Viewer applet located at https://www.japplis.com/applet-runner/office/excel-viewer.html.
